Hair Bank

“Hair for Hairless” programme is a compassionate initiative designed to support cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation therapy.  This is also facilitated by the Department of Medical Social Work in collaboration with Department of Oncology. They oversee all the hair donation processes, ensuring that donated hair is properly verified and used to create high-quality wigs for patients who need it.

These wigs are given out to cancer patients without any cost, which in turn helps their confidence and dignity during treatment. Amala not only provides aid for a healthy life but also supports the emotional well-being of the patients going through challenging medical journeys.
